Mira Anna Niran n me
were having dinner
at Bugis after a tiring tiring day
finding dance costumes.
We sat down.
Diagonally opposite to me was a Indian lady
sitting in the next table.
She was like e high class stylish type.
Wearing a black v-neck dress.
I noticed she was looking at me with
this look in her eyes.
Got a bit freaked out.
Maybe she didnt like us pesky teenagers
making a racket of how our legs hurt like hell.
She and her friend got up to leave.
She then tapped on my shoulder and said
"You are a very pretty girl."
I just sat there with my mouth open.
Me.
With all my makeup melted away
and all tired out.
In a simple white tudong.
lol.
I dont think she even heard my "thank you".
It completely made my day.
Such nice people are rare to find in Singapore.

(btw you know what my mom said when I told her:
"maybe the lighting not right. she never see properly")
But then all my euphoria just went out the window
after what happened next.
There was this
white boy and a north indian girl,
both about my age
in the table beside us now.
My god, PDA to the freaking max.
Damn irritating until to the point
I was thinking "Go get a room".
You guys act like animals in the middle
of a restaurant, of course, people will
stare right.
Thats exactly wat we were doing.
We were giving them awkward glances
and murderous looks.
Taboleh tahan sia.
There was this Chinese old man sitting
right in front of those snuggling "lovebirds"
and he quickly quickly
finished his food and ran off.
Poor soul.
Then this Mira.
I seriously do not know what to do with her.
I told them
"First letters of the 3 animals I'm going to say:
Penguin Dolphin Ape. To the max"
Niran and Anna nodded in agreement.
This Mira,
adding to the fact that she took 10 seconds
to figure out the first letters,
she told them SO LOUDLY that
the completely not shameless
people could hear beside me.
And she didn't know the meaning also.
GAH.
I didn't even dare look at the couple.
Both Anna and me were sitting with
our both hands at our forehead.
What a day. what a day.
