AJ 25 Concert 2009 was an event too
extraordinary for words.
There is this intense feeling of pride
you get when you watch your
a performance and go
"Whoa. That is goooood".
The dance was insane and fantastic.
Even our principal is puzzled why we didnt get GWH.
I just wish I could turn back time and
and put Raj and Brindax in their
stunning constumes for our
actual SYF.
That Sunday was one that was full of
LAUGHS, awkwardness, tension, determination and
"darna darna darna eh". lol.
That powerpacked performance is proof that we deserved
much much more than what we got.
All the praise we got stands for the disappointment and
pain that we felt.
This is the exact reason why our AJTL symbol is
a fiery phoenix.
Let's charge on TL!
One thing that I learnt the hard way for
both SYF and JJ vaanavil was that
if you feel something is not appropriate,
irrelevant or just does not make sense,
voice it out with your members then and there.
Change it and make it right
ASAP even if it means going against
higher authorities.
Because that one thing might mean
the difference between a gold and a silver
or an impactful performance and a meagre one.
I'm going to stick to that lesson for good.

I think I'm done man.
Going to give way to others for PJC Aadiperukku
before some people complain
that I'm joining in all the competitions.
Being an exco member is really
changing my JC life.
I feel like I need to look out for others more
than I usually do
and keep a watchful eye on how I behave
but that is alright.
It's good for me.
I'm really trying to lower down my tension
and stress.
By the end of the year,
I would not need stabilizers anymore.
Bagagagaga.
Madrasah Camp was ok.
The only highlight was that they
called me as a judge for the kirat competition
together with the senior ustazahs.
"Siru kadagu aanaalum kaaram kuraiyaathu"
was the reply I got for my stunned face.
But I know how pressurizing it is for
the compeititors, sitting there with the Quran
to read God's words in
the most beautiful way because
I was there before.
I have progressed!
Anyway, I think, last year's camp
was more fun because Girls' Youth Wing
were the main facilitators and were
put in charge for different sections.
This year we had to stick to our
classes only with our juniors taking
care of the jobs.
It felt empty, I dunno why,
GYW's term only lasted for half a year
when we expected at least 2 years.
And the person I was looking
very much forward to see was no where to be seen.
Well, it's ok, I got to bond with my students
even though I still had to scream at them
from time to time.
I saw the love they have for their teachers
and I was really touched.

Lots of catching up to do.
With academics and with people.
The more I carry on with life,
the more I'm starting to believe in a quote
I read on the net.
"Maybe its meant to be that you live
certain periods of time with certain people.
And then you just move on."
