It hurts when you know
you can't be by the side of the
one you love just for the sake of protecting
them and yourself.
But you comply because there is a sense of happiness
knowing that sacrifice would eventually
bring something good.
And so there is a sad smile on your face.
But it is a smile no matter what.
That is the beginning of the good already.
