I forgot to mention that on eve of aandu vizha
Girls' Youth Wing excluding 4 members were sitting in the dark
at 2nd floor stairs talking about our upcoming pre-mualimah
juniors.
It felt refreshing because it was the first time
we just arattai adkikkiraan about something not serious
in the dark somemore.
All that could be seen was white tudongs and teeth.
Learnt some shocking news about some juniors.
Sigh.
And we all 13 of us left at 10.15 PM!
For me it's not late, but in madrasah "girls rule",
it was quite late and I was happy to see we could do it.
Eh, all these small things matter ok!
Anyway.....
Aandu vizha went great.
Pretty sad that we didn't do any big adupadi vaelai
because we didn't handle the food
which was delicious by the way.
Met Aisha and Muhammad.
"Un akka unnai kodumaipaduthuru thaane?" "Aama."
Hehehehe. so cute.
Became the bread yethuraan-ing person for the sandwiches.
Touched up our deco.
Early work given to juniors for training.
GYW took lunch time which went quite smooth
despite the fact that we had to cater to prayers
and food at the same location.
I'm proud.
Not so chaotic as I thought it would be. ( you know me, the tension party)
Nur Jahan ust's daughter, Zahira, is so adorable.
She is a doll, I swear. Friendly baby. Went to everyone.
Arshyaaaaaa. Chasing after the balloon. Classic. Our baby.
Took pictures with our decorations.
So embarassing. Everyone was looking at the mass of orange
for 5 whole minutes. -_-'".

Kiraat compeition made me feel nostalgic because
I was a kiraat student and now, a kiraat ustazah,
a blessing I don't take lightly.
Next, the best thing that GYW does, I bet
my last dollar we do it better than BYW,
CLEAN-UP!!!!!
Off went the paayees, the canvas
and in came the mops, brooms and vacuum cleaners.
The toilet went through a thorough washing up,
top to bottom, from cubicles to the drains.
Everyone helping everyone,
regardless of the wetness and dirt.
GYW team work at it's best.
It was a lot of fun.
Next, it took 3 people to sweep the stairs,
LOL. Ris, Hamsa and me.
"Itha panrathukku 3 peru. Kaevellama irukkuthu la.
Onnu Supervisor, innonnu koorathu, innonnu kupai porrikki"
Then, washing the paanaes and sahans
at the back of mosque with the ustazahs.
To an outsider, it may seem hard work,
mind you there were about 10 huge andathandi
paanaes and about 40 sahans with all the utensils.
But like what Ghajni Surya said,
"kashtappattu uzhaikkame, ishatappattu uzhaippom".
We had a lot of fun, with Hazrat spraying water on
Shareefa Ust, Shareefa Ust spraying water on Sabiya Ust and
spraying soil water on Hamsa and me.
Burka = full wet.
We were like walking wet thuni holders.
6 GYW members went to the fan dry off.
ROTFL literally, I tell you.
This Irfan and Farhan no 1. gunduus.
Making me and the rest laugh like maniacs
until our sides ached.
Can't tell what happened coz too maanap piracchanai.
Sirajunisa Ust "Edaiyile mattum dardakka dardakka ennu sound
vanthuchu" referring to a phone while she was watching over the bags.
And she said it so innocently, I couldn't help laughing.
You know me, tension party+laugh 4 everything type.
Then pack up, walked to yishun mrt.
Got proof that Riswana and me are kooda porakkaatha siblings. lol.
It was a busy exciting day.
Oh yeah, the constant lupdupping and Aisha thing. lol.
from 6.30 in the morn to 6.30 in the evening.
Most of the work, went to the boys as usual,
but still, GYW did what was given to us.
No debrief yet so we'll see how well we did what was given to us.
So that's it.
The last event of the year till March for meelath vizha.
Where new members would have been recruited for GYW.
Skeptical but we'll see.....
